Chapter V is an interior design studio committed to creating warm, layered interiors rooted in what matters most. Specializing in home renovations and vacation rentals, we blend old and new to create spaces that feel collected and full of story. Our approach is collaborative and intentional—grounded in real people, real needs, and the lives that unfold within each space.

Our Approach

At Chapter V, we value the trust placed in us to solve problems. We hold our clients in high esteem and strive to make every part of our design process valuable and effective. Because of this, a few things are core to who we are:

  • You are as integral to the creative process as we are. The best projects include back and forth, mutual understanding, and alignment. We work closely with you throughout the entire design process to ensure your vision is achieved. Sharing ideas and communicating clearly will help us drive the creative process from start to finish.

  • Let’s commit to transparency from the start. Tell us what you love, what you hate, what your budget is. We will do the same—from sharing our expertise to navigating your budget to sourcing solutions. Most importantly, we will do everything in our power to be not just a designer, but a partner you can rely on.

  • We can all agree that good design doesn’t happen by accident. We consider every component of your space, however big or small, and make intentional choices that best serve your goals and your budget.

  • We promise to create what’s true—true to your needs, to your guests, or to your daily life. We look at a problem from all angles to find the best solution for your space and as your creative partner, we will push creative boundaries to do so.

We work with homeowners and vacation rental owners who want their spaces to work as well as they look. Some projects are about making a home more functional for the people who live there. Others are about creating a vacation rental that feels memorable for guests while being practical to own and operate. Either way, we start by understanding how the space needs to work, what matters to you, and where the opportunities are to make it better.
